Once you've accepted a new role with us, we'll need to collect some details to get you set up on our systems, and so we can carry out some background screening and reference checks. You'll add your details directly into our HR system known as SuccessFactors.
We want your experience of joining Royal London to be a great one. So it's important that you complete all of the steps carefully as it could delay your start date if we don't have everything we need.
01. Read up on our policies
You'll need to confirm that you've read and understood them in a later step. You need to read the 'essential policies and procedures booklet' relevant to you (i.e. UK or Ireland) and the other three policies in the list.
To read them, click on the 'important policies' tile.
02. Start your onboarding checklist
Next it's time to access your onboarding checklist by clicking the 'provide personal details' tile.
Your first task is to review the information that's already there and add more details if they're needed or change any that aren't right.
03. Complete the data collection tasks
We know this might feel a bit overwhelming, so to help guide you through the process the next task won't be unlocked until you've completed the one you're currently working through.
04. In the UK? This step applies to you
Complete the 'UK starter checklist' to provide any tax information we need.
This is where you'll be able to upload a digital copy of a P45 (if you have one) or complete a digital new starter form (P46). You'll then be asked to complete an e-signature step and submit the forms.
05. Explore more
Explore any useful links or contacts under 'explore onboarding guide'. This is a great opportunity for you to find out more about working at Royal London, your People Leader, team members and other colleagues you might be working with.
06. Time to get those checks done
You'll get separate emails from our screening partners. Please provide them with any information they ask for so they can do their checks. These can include reference checks with your current or former employers.
