We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Account Manager focussing upon Protection to join our Account Management team within our Intermediary business area.

The main purpose of this role is deliver agreed new business targets from a panel of intermediaries in a manner that satisfies all regulatory and compliance responsibilities and meets our business objectives.

 

What will you be doing

  • Creating, maintaining and delivering a strategic plan to develop a panel of intermediates
  • Deliver business objectives from a broad ranges of firms on panel
  • Prepare and deliver agreed monthly sales activity plan
  • Ensuring all business risks are managed and mitigated effectively
  • Deliver personal sales targets from a panel of intermediaries
  • Develop new intermediary relationships
  • Develop and maintaining strong relations internally and externally
  • Work closely with colleagues and resources to maximise profitable new business

 

What we’re looking for

  • Strong sales background within the protection market
  • Competent navigation of NBIS
  • Ideally RO1, RO3 and RO5 (protection) qualifications, or the willingness to achieve this within 24 months
  • Understanding of industry issues and legislative updates
  • Understanding of wider propositions across the industry
  • IT literate, confident within MS Office
