About the role

We are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join the Group Data Office. You will provide expert support across the enterprise information framework with the goal of leveraging the capabilities of the Group Data Office to enable the business to deliver its data driven outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing, designing and executive Enterprise Data Architecture in a large scale in a regulated industry
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of the enterprise Data Architecture (definition and path to target)
  • Research and understand emerging best practice and trends
  • Look for opportunities to embed those trends in our Enterprise Data Strategy, Target State Definition and Strategic Data to maximise the value of the data investment

 

Criteria

  • Excellent data design and enterprise-wide data architecture skills
  • Experience of architecting complex data integration and transformation programmes (closed and open book)
  • Strong and demonstrable specialist knowledge of architecture frameworks, trends and initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Data technology and concepts preferably Microsoft Azure stack and services
  • A demonstrable ability to present technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels
  • A strong commercial discipline
