About the role

We are looking for a Head of Data Programme Delivery to join our Group Data Office. Within this role you will be responsible for driving successful, major change and transformational Data programmes/portfolio activities at a Group Level within the organisation.

 

This is an opportunity to join a newly formed team full of individuals passionate and motivated to deliver change. We are investing significantly in data capabilities and this will result in further growth and development opportunities.  

 

Key responsibilities

  • Interpret the Enterprise Data Strategy and adopt disciplined project management and delivery execution experience to realise the business outcomes
  • Plan the programme from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and processes
  • Define and agree required level of programme resource needed for successful project delivery
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
  • Manage the integration of programme outcomes/benefits into business as usual
  • Consolidate and document the fundamental components of programmes (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues and quality requirements)

 

Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience of working on complex, multi-vendor programmes, and deep understanding of investment and business case planning
  • Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques and methods
  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
  • Expert level planning and scheduling skills, ensuring the complex activities of interrelated project and BAU teams are controlled
  • Leadership, organisational, delegation and team building skills for the effective management across large business change programmes
