We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Data Architect to join our Group Technology and Change (GTC) Function in Wilmslow.


This is a key role responsible for assessing and developing the data strategy across the business.


What will you be doing


  • Establish and develop a data strategy
  • Leading virtual teams and establish future resource requirements
  • Advise on delivering business outcomes through a digital strategy


What we’re looking for


  • Previous experience in establishing a data strategy within a large organisation
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong and demonstrable knowledge of architecture frameworks, trends and initiatives

Skills that will help you in the role


  • Strong understanding of technology trends; keeping up to date with emerging data and technologies
  • Financial services experience would be beneficial
    Experience of multiple technology domains
