This is a particularly exciting time to join a well-respected Procurement team who are helping to deliver Royal London’s strategy outcomes and ambitions across a number of change programmes, driving the fullest commercial value from our partner relationships and new procurement opportunities.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead on the end to end process for complex IT contract renewals
  • Lead on the procurement process for all relevant projects – e.g. new software requests, sourcing new suppliers/equipment and/ or resources
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement process
  • Ensure the fullest compliance to the Procurement Policy for the relevant spend category



  • Demonstrable experience across IT procurement and supplier management, preferably within the financial sector
  • Good knowledge of commercial models and approaches/techniques necessary to achieve best in class deals
  • Category management knowledge
  • Proven ability to achieve substantial cost benefit
  • Proven negotiation skills and knowledge of contract law
  • Change management experience
