We are looking for an Insight Manager to join the Research Team within the UK Customer Insight function where you will play an important role in shaping the strategy and direction of an insight-led business.

 

You will be part of a high performing, in-demand team that uses primary and secondary research to generate actionable recommendations for all areas of the business.

 

Your role will require you to manage and oversee projects that are both quantitative and qualitative in nature with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and influencing.

 

About the role

 

  • Align with individual business areas to help them shape their insight needs for the year and prioritise delivery.
  • Manage and deliver high quality primary research projects that meet the needs of the Group with clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Optimise the value of our existing primary and secondary research, creating well-structured insight reports to answer regular business questions, making these accessible across the Group to minimise additional spend. 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholders effectively and gain consensus on insight recommendations.
  • Mentor, develop and support Insight Consultants, share best practice and delegate effectively to help create a pipeline of talent. 
  • Develop suggestions for new programmes of work and suggest improvements to existing programmes and processes to ensure we are commercially efficient and able to deliver the best quality insight.

 

About you

 

  • A broad knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels.
  • Driven, self-motivated and adept at motivating others.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to identify, articulate and communicate in an impactful way the key conclusions from insight projects.
  • Demonstrable capability in running of qualitative research projects and sessions.
