About the role

We are looking for an Engagement Product Owner to join our Marketing Engagement Leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead agile teams to deliver engagement experiences/ journeys that meet key customer & commercial outcomes.  Working closely with the Marketing & CX teams, you will shape specific target state experiences & journeys aligned to the business priorities.  You will also lead the creation of and then own and oversee a ‘portfolio’ of journeys and be accountable for their contribution in terms of customer impact and commercial KPI’s. 

 

To be successful you will be required to collaborate across the group and deliver through agile teams consisting of data, automation & engagement managers and consultants as well as other Brand & Marketing colleagues and wider SME’s as defined by the PO. 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining specific engagement strategies to meet a business challenge or opportunity or customer need
  • Define key outcomes and plan
  • Identify key process inputs - data requirements, channel mix, content
  • Lead the journey design methodology
  • Define the SME's required and lead an agile squad to deliver against outcomes
  • Responsible for adhering to the engagement design approach: methodology, tools & ways of working.
  • Once delivered identified BAU journey lead

 

 

Criteria

  • Good grasp of the life & pensions industry & customer sets
  • Broad marketing experience
  • Knowledge of CRM, Marketing Automation & Marketing technology integrations
  • Track record of delivering journey-led automated comms
  • Proficiency in experience design methodology
  • Agile Marketing Experience
  • Grasp of core Marketing Data specialisms, tools & skillsets
