About the role


We are looking for a Finance Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team.  You will support the production of high-quality management information that ensures financial performance is understood by business management.  This in turn, supports them to provide well-considered analysis that contributes to the understanding of the financials and profitability of the business.


Key responsibilities


  • Produce monthly analysis on the business expenses and present analysis back to commercial finance and business stakeholders
  • Support the development of automated reporting and system enhancements on Anaplan and Power BI
  • Provide insightful commentary on business performance
  • Ownership of areas of P&L analysis, initially focusing on Expense line items (subject to change in the future as we rotate people in the team to build knowledge)
  • Provide oversite and support to Financial Control to ensure the posting of accurate Expense accruals on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure P&L Expense variances to Budget, Forecast and prior periods are fully understood, including underlying drivers




  • Qualified Accountant
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility

  • Manage relationships effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to improve processes and adopt technology
