The primary focus of the Help to deliver business results in line with the Consumer Division plan, by supporting marketing campaign and communication activities in line with Royal London’s Consumer promotion strategy and brand guidelines, to agreed time, cost and quality standards.

Support the Marketing team with a broad range of activities to ensure the team meets agreed targets.

 

What will you be doing

  • Support the Marketing Leads, and Marketing Managers to deliver effective multi-channel marketing campaigns across all media
  • Support approval process of creative materials – legal, compliance, proposition
  • Ensure in-house teams as well as creative and media agencies and print teams deliver to the defined deadlines.
  • Organising, coordinating and liaising with all 3rd party marketing service relationships.
  • Support the centralised collateral change control process ensuring all items are briefed, updated, approved, and stock controlled as required
  • Support production campaign performance reports (campaign MI)
  • Create and raise Purchase Orders to support budget management
  • Support campaign MI production
  • General support to Marketing teams including key tool usage:
    • Away day coordination
    • Web content updates
    • Google analytics
  • Customer review collations and feedback

 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Ideal individual will have experience in in organising, coordinating and executing with external vendors on marketing acquisition projects, but not essential.
  • Analytical, methodical and structured approach
  • Used to managing the delivery of a high volume of varied advertising on a weekly basis
  • Experience of working with and managing 3rd party partners, and in development and control of stock management and destruction
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be able to respond well to pressure
  • Work well in a team and with a wide range of people
  • Be organised and methodical
  • Proactive and able to take the initiative

 

Skills that will help you in the role

  • Excellent planning, co-ordination and organisation skills
  • Strong communication skills to manage relationships with in-house and external creative and media design agencies
  • Ability to support, manage, and share knowledge to help development of wider marketing team in building a direct response business
  • Desire to make a difference and play a key role in the development of a direct response business
  • Experience working in marketing function
