The primary focus of the role is to develop and manage all Marketing Services for RLAM, this includes the owner of all RLAM events, Design Requirements, Production, Print Management, Website, Corporate Gifts and production of materials.  Manage external vendors including publications, print and event suppliers, and system providers. This is a key role for RLAM to ensure the organisation functions smoothly and needs to be held by someone who has exceptional attention to detail.

 

What will you be doing

  • Work closely with the Channel Marketing team to build and develop the strategy for the wholesale and institutional channels to deliver various seminars, conferences, and entertainment for these market segments, ensuring you are always driving and pushing the quality of event and attendance to match our target segments.
  • Work with external vendors, as needed
  • Manage our internal design resource, and ensure projects get delivered on time and to budget.
  • Manage and oversee our print suppliers ensuring best price for the job is achieved based on various factors. 
  • Ensuring any collateral that is needed to be printed is always quoted and challenged as appropriate.
  • Explore opportunities for alternative promotion vehicles – audio/visual presentations/conferences, webinars, and social media and share with your colleagues as appropriate.
  • To be the Brand Guardian and expert for RLAM, working closely with Head of Marketing and the Group Brand team.
  • To offer training and advice for members of staff should they require and to be the centre of excellence
  • To ensure all web content is correct and adheres to our risk and controls.
  • Train as appropriate other members of the team
  • To work with the Channel Marketing team to ensure all content is valid and is regularly refreshed.
  • Manage e-campaign tool and Comstore
  • Carry out assessment and analysis of all events against the goals and objectives as set in the marketing plan, incorporating sales input
  • Recommend future participation in event or any suggested amendments for future years

  • Strong organisational and time management skills – Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously
  • Creative. 
  • Ensure all clients are treated in clear and consistent manger with adherence to TCF principles.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and across the company.

 

Skills that will help you in the role      

  • Strong understanding of investment products, including familiarity with various asset types: equity, fixed income, property, cash, derivatives as well as understanding of the various clients types within the asset management business
  • Educated to University degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of marketing within an asset management firm.
  • Investment Management Certificate (IMC) a plus.
