About the role

 

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to join the outsourced operations team and oversee one of RLAM’s major transfer agency relationships. The primary focus of this role is to ensure effective monitoring, control and provision of outsourced relationships. You will ensure the transfer agency are reporting service levels in line with RLAM’s requirements for delivery and quality and lead regular service reviews involving the appropriate internal stakeholders from RLAM.

 

The Outsourced Operations team provides the relationship management and governance for the services supplied by HSBC, SS&C and Royal London Group Intragroup services. It also supports the relationship management of the Irish Funds Third Party Management Company, Fundrock.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Outsourced relationships controlled to deliver good service in line with agreed SLAs
  • Review and development of RLAM’s outsourcing partners, scope and proposition.
  • Review of risk reporting
  • Answer ad hoc requests, as required
  • Support strategic projects
  • Lead succession planning for outsourced providers
  • Manage multiple stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

 

Criteria

 

  • Previous experience within an asset management company or similar industry
  • Previous experience of Transfer Agency operating model including AML and CASS and investment management processes
  • Relevant relationship management experience, preferably gained from an asset management environment overseeing Outsourced Operations.
  • Experience interacting with multiple departments and individuals
  • Understanding of investment instruments including Equities, Fixed Interest, Money Market, Derivatives, Property and Cash
  • Knowledge and or experience of Eire regulations and regulators expectations regards systems and controls where relevant to outsourced UK TA is desirable but not essential.
