We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the Finance Operations team within Royal London Asset Management on a permanent basis.

 

As Senior Finance Manager, you will manage the finance operations team daily and ensure that the end-to-end accounts receivable process is carried out on an accurate and timely basis.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader. Within this role, you will have high influence within Finance Operations paired with high stakeholder visibility. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of continuous projects to support with increasing automation. 

 

About the role

 

  • Create a vision for the Finance Operations team and manage performance to deliver this.
  • Management of the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring the accuracy of all client invoicing.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with the client account management team.
  • Manage the preparation of costs, ensuring the accuracy of underlying data.
  • Support the team in developing relationships with cost centre managers and FP&A to ensure accuracy of cost reporting.
  • Accountable for the month-end close process including accruals, prepayments, and journal approvals.
  • Manage and review internal reporting to ensure that revenue and costs are understood and shared with internal finance stakeholders each month. 

 

About you

 

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) 
  • Accounting and revenue experience gained within the asset management industry.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Strong Excel skills essential. 
  • Demonstratable experience of improving existing processes and developing new processes.
  • Experience of Oracle ledger and Anaplan would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
