We are currently looking for a dynamic and curious Senior Marketing Strategy Consultant to join our Marketing Team here at Royal London, to support the creation of the Brand and Marketing strategy. Working closely with the Insights team, you will use research and data to help identify opportunities and gaps to support individual marketing strategies.

 

You will work with key stakeholders in the business to ensure marketing is playing a significant role in the achievement of its vision and fulfilment of the Royal London purpose. In a very specialised world, it is a rare opportunity to work across various audiences, products and channels at once.

 

The team deliver marketing to support the ambitions of the Royal London group and contribute to the group's market participation strategy. They support business priorities by designing and delivering a customer focussed and commercial marketing plan.

About the role

 

  • Support the individual development of go to market strategic approaches.
  • Work with and build relationships with stakeholders on the individual marketing strategy projects, including managing regular check-ins.
  • Monitor progress to ensure execution is in line with strategy and work stakeholders to build on successes, identify areas of improvement and share learnings.
  • Support the Head of marketing strategy to drive the yearly Marketing strategy process.
  • Drive the diagnosis stage of the strategy process including understanding our customer needs and trends, as well as their media and channel usage, working with both our internal insights team and our external agencies.

 

About you

 

  • A self-starter, who prizes a collaborative way of working.
  • Relevant marketing experience.
  • Development of marketing strategies and plans, including measurable objectives.
  • Experience of customer, adviser and employer insights, data, and research.
  • Ability to create a logical story/narrative.
  • Experience of working on marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of marketing channels, especially digital.
