We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Compliance Consultant to join the Marketing Compliance team in a first line risk role. Joining the team on a 12-month contract offers an ideal opportunity for individuals who would like to build their career in a compliance role.

 

The key purpose of this role will be to review and approve Royal London financial promotions and key moment documents ensuring they are compliant in line with all relevant rules and guidance. This will enable the Proposition, Strategy and Marketing teams to deliver on their purpose and provide good customer outcomes.

 

You will have the opportunity to provide compliance guidance around FCA and ASA requirements relating to Royal London’s communications. Helping to achieve good customer outcomes and to keep the business safe from regulatory censure.

 

About the role

 

  • Review and approve Royal London financial promotions and key moment documents.
  • Provide marketing compliance help, support, and guidance to all areas of the Proposition & Strategy and Marketing teams.
  • Conduct control testing of the financial promotions review and approval process.
  • Monitor and record regulatory developments at the FCA and ASA to deliver compliance insight in relation to financial promotions to the Proposition & Strategy and Marketing teams.
  • Record breaches on Archer in a timely manner as/when identified.

 

About you

 

  • Good knowledge of the FCA financial promotions rules, and all other relevant rules and guidance.
  • Good knowledge of the wider regulatory environment and framework.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry and the regulatory framework in respect of the pensions and protection markets.
  • Ability to identify, articulate and communicate the key conclusions from a review.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with key stakeholders in the business.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
  • Ideally level 3 qualified in financial services.
