About the role

We are currently recruiting for an established Project Manager with experience of Infrastructure projects to work across the Change function within our Group Technology and Change organisation.

 

The main purpose of this role is to deliver change projects which support achievement of the Group strategy, effectively and efficiently. To ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards. Solutions may involve change to any of business process, operating model, applications, infrastructure, and third-party services.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Apply good project management practice to lead one or more project teams / initiatives to successfully deliver planned change outcomes to agreed schedule and budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, identifying and engaging all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility to develop a detailed project plan to monitor, track and share progress.
  • Drive and track project performance, using appropriate financial analysis and verification techniques to determine and manage any change to project scope, schedule, and cost constraints, maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders including those with third parties/vendors.
  • Matrix management across multiple disciplines (BAs, developers, testers, and technical resources) through to 3rd parties and business SMEs, delegating project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed whilst performing risk and issue management activities.
