The successful candidate will provide deep technical expertise to help teams design, develop, test, and implement efficient solutions that meet business and customer requirements.

 

Using modern software development practices, patterns, and tools; the successful candidate will join a team building, running, and maintaining applications across front-end and back-end disciplines used by internal and external users.

About the role

 

  • Participate in the development of complex technical solutions, managing own workload.
  • Provides technical advice and guidance to other software developers, proactively and reactively.
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring that all code meets Royal London Group standards, guidelines, and quality gates for given technology.
  • Encourages close collaboration with other disciplines within the team.
  • Takes an active role on the transfer of knowledge and sharing of experiences relating to own area of technical expertise at practice level.

 

About you

 

  • Development experience in .Net and Azure, successfully delivering change on complex applications.
  • Practical experience using Azure in an Enterprise environment.
  • Desire to support the wider team.
  • Able to communicate at all levels in an engaging and collaborative manner.
