Our Data Office

Our strategy at Royal London is to become an insight-led modern mutual, growing sustainably through deepening customer relationships. We want to use data, analytics and AI to offer timely, relevant, personalised guidance and support to deepen customer relationships and ultimately, increase their financial resilience.

What we're working toward

We want to use our data to transform the business, increasing how effectively we deliver on our Purpose.

In the recent years, we've modernised our data and technology capabilities so we can deliver on our strategy. Guided by data principles and enhanced data governance, we're aiming to establish an effective ecosystem for data, analytics and AI.

We're developing novel data solutions to deepen relationships with advisers and customers, and to provide data and insights that enable better decision making across Royal London.

Increasing the availability of data skills and embedding an insight-led culture is vital to our success. That's why we launched our Data and AI academy - a learning programme designed to support our colleagues to develop data skills to accelerate our transition to become an insight-led modern mutual, delivering great outcomes for our customers.
