We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills to meticulously examine procurement data, providing valuable insights that drive cost savings and optimise supplier management. The Procurement Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring the best value for the organisation. Key responsibilities include data analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and the development of comprehensive procurement reports. This role is an integral part of the Procurement Operations team, working flexibly and collaboratively to support the delivery and savings targets of Group Procurement. It involves supporting the creation, embedding, and maintenance of best practice procurement processes and technology solutions, thereby ensuring the overall success of the Procurement team and the Group-wide business.

 

About the role 

  • Strong analytical skills – an ability to effectively interpret data and present insights using the latest technology.
  • Advanced and demonstrable understanding of the Microsoft Power applications including Power Automate, Forms and Power BI.
  • Effective communicator - an ability to engage, collaborate and present creative ideas to improve ways of working.
  • Good technical skills – procurement systems, Microsoft Office 365 suite etc.
  • Graduate calibre or relevant professional qualification desirable.
