We’re looking for an Automation & Innovation Development Manager to help drive digital transformation across our Group Customer Operations function, as part of our Automation Centre of Excellence.
This role leads the delivery of intelligent automation, AI and Power Platform solutions that improve efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.
You’ll lead a team of developers and work closely with Operations, Transformation and IT to deliver both quick‑win automations and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
Using technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform, RPA, AI and Copilot, you’ll turn operational challenges into secure, scalable solutions that make a real difference for colleagues and customers.
About the role
- Lead the design and delivery of automation and digital solutions that improve efficiency, quality and customer outcomes across Group Customer Operations
- Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for solutions built using Microsoft Power Platform, intelligent automation and AI
- Manage and develop a high‑performing team of developers, supporting capability growth and continuous improvement
- Act as the bridge between Operations, Transformation and IT, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure solutions meet security, governance and compliance standards, following best practice across the delivery lifecycle
- Shape and prioritise a pipeline of automation opportunities, balancing quick wins with strategic transformation initiatives
About you
- Proven experience delivering automation and digital solutions, including Microsoft Power Platform and intelligent automation technologies
- Strong technical leadership capability, with experience providing architectural oversight and leading end‑to‑end solution delivery
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, with a collaborative and coaching approach
- Solid understanding of IT governance, security, data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes, working effectively with operational and technology stakeholders
- Experience using data, insights and KPIs to track benefits and drive continuous improvement
