Due to growth, Royal London Ireland are seeking to expand our sales team. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering and promoting our sales proposition, contributing to the expansion of our sales across Ireland.
Your focus will be driving new business growth in both protection and pensions while also maximising opportunities with exiting accounts. About the role
- Drive and support the delivery and promotion of our overall sales proposition within the RL Ireland Sales Team
- Actively contribute to the broadening of our sales throughput
- Achieve new business targets in both protection and pensions
- Maximize throughput from existing accounts
- Create compelling messages and materials to support the promotion of our overall product offering and support the delivery of the Pensions sales plan
- Strong relationships and positive feedback and engagement from the Broker market
- Broadening of pensions, investment and protection support base
About you
- Minimum QFA level – Degree level and CFP qualified an advantage.
- Extensive experience of retail pension and investment products, Broker distribution channels and the challenges they face in the current regulatory climate.
- In-depth understanding and up to date knowledge of fund, investment and economic matters
- Track record in similar role
- Strong knowledge of Life, Pension and Protection products
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical issues into marketable messages
- Experience of helping to build relationships with new broker firms
- Ability to deliver compelling, engaging presentations
- Ability to work to tight timescales and manage conflicting priorities and to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong communication skills and excellent team working skills.
- Excellent customer engagement skills and strong influencing skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Full, clean driving licence
