Royal London Ireland is seeking to hire a Senior Actuarial Trainee to collaborate closely with the Pension Proposition Actuary, team members, and the External PRSA Actuary to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and successful delivery of these mandates.

They will contribute to the growth of the pension business by providing actuarial expertise for product enhancements and new developments, and will also support various other business areas, including Operations, Sales, and IT.

About you

 

  • 3+ years’ experience in actuarial teams within the Irish Life & Pensions market
  • Working towards or near qualified as an Actuary
  • Good IT/software skills (Excel, VB and access).  Proficient in R and/or Python woiuld be advantageous.
  • Strong technical, problem identification and analytical skills.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills: ability to communicate in a professional manner with colleagues across the department and the wider business.
