Data Transformation Lead

Transform Challenges into Opportunities – Provide structure to emerging deliveries

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced problem-solver and delivery specialist who thrives on ambiguity.  You bring clarity where there’s complexity, establishing structure, process, and momentum to establish new complex initiatives or recover struggling ones drive them toward successful delivery.

This role is perfect for a variety of career paths – you could be a seasoned project, or programme manager or a delivery lead who has spent 6+ years in the trenches.  You have earned your stripes by successfully creating structure and stability where it was needed. You’ve seen enough to know what to prevent issues before they happen.  Team Culture is as important to you as the technical aspects of the role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and transform data integration based projects/ programmes and BAU across organisational boundaries
  • Align teams, resolve blockers, and deliver real measurable value.
  • You're comfortable navigating senior stakeholders, influencing across functions, and making confident decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Drive strategic initiatives while maintaining hands-on involvement
  • Roll up your sleeves and dive deep into problems when needed
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams across multiple workstreams

You're Our Ideal Candidate If

  • You have 6+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs – strong grasp of delivery lifecycle, governance and best practices
  • You're known as the "fixer" – the person teams call when projects need turning around – experience earned solving real challenges
  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and know how to bring direction, stability and accountability
  • You're proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems
  • You have experience with data projects in Financial Services or similar industry and the ability to quickly master new technical domains

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities (you are happy to roll your sleeves up and get involved)
  • Natural ability to spot patterns and potential issues before they surface
  • Experience in large-scale data integration, transformation, or separation programs
  • Background in Financial Services or Similar Professional Services
  • Focused on outcomes ensuring value is realised – not just delivered

Career Development

This role is ideal for:

  • Mid-career professionals looking to expand their span of control
  • Project/Program managers seeking to leverage their experience in the growing field of data transformation

Diversity Statement

We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered. We encourage applications from women and other underrepresented groups who are passionate about making a difference in the field of data transformation.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to shape and influence major transformation initiatives
  • Complex, challenging projects that will stretch your capabilities
  • Environment that values proactive problem-solving and innovative thinking
  • Platform to apply your experience in preventing and resolving project challenges
  • Chance to build and lead high-performing teams

This role is perfect for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
