Due to exciting plans to grow our adviser support services for savings products in retirement we are recruiting a Senior Proposition Analyst to join the Royal London team based in Edinburgh. As a Senior Proposition Analyst, you’ll play a key role as part of the team leading the design and delivery of new adviser experiences. You’ll take responsibility for ensuring existing adviser services deliver the expected outcomes and collaborate with advisers, adviser technology providers and senior stakeholders to understand their needs and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also help shape our proposition story and get people excited about what it can do for them.
About The Role
- To support the creation of the squad / delivery team vision and drives the focus of this throughout the squad/ delivery team environment
- To be responsible for decisions made with regards to appropriate changes based on insight and Market intelligence
- Provides a technical excellence in areas of responsibility. They will maintain a deep understanding in these areas which will support prioritisation and decision making.
- Provides leadership to peers and wider delivery team by collaborating with others which delivers the right outcomes for the business, customer, and squad.
- Will lead their own change initiatives, through working with product owner to identify appropriately.
- Is seen as a role model within the community and squad environment while consistently demonstrating RL values and behaviours.
- Takes an active role in risk management and demonstrates a strong understanding of the governance processes within the environment.
About you
- Strong expertise of relevant products, processes and markets, maintaining up to date knowledge and including understanding of competitors’ propositions and strategies.
- Understanding of the financial services industry and the legislative/regulatory framework and the ability to think creatively around big picture and detailed solutions.
- Commercially astute with the ability to understand and be innovative in their approach to designing solutions and the ability to influence the design of our strategy.
- A good understanding of customers and how to build an efficient operation around their needs.
- Ability to influence within peer group and management levels.
- Focus on delivery, working with stakeholders to agree priorities, secure and align resource.
- Motivated individual who can bring insight and creativity to business solutions.
- Excellent communicator who can create partnership relationships with key business functions and can clearly articulate the design and benefits to all.
- Will support best practice and innovation and challenge the status quo.
- Adopts a collaborative and commercial approach and works well with others.
