We are looking to hire an experienced Service Relationship Manager to develop long lasting, sustainable relationships with our workplace clients, in order to protect and ultimately grow the client portfolio.


The position involves providing technical support to clients, identifying and implementing service improvements, and fulfilling Royal London’s contractual obligations for direct business.

 

About the role

 

  • Develop and manage effective relationships with clients and their professional advisers at various levels, up to and including senior board level.
  • Proactively communicate matters pertinent to the client’s portfolio to the employer and their adviser.
  • Represent Royal London at formal governance meetings and arrange regular reviews with senior stakeholders.
  • Fulfill Royal London’s contractual obligations for direct business, including any bespoke requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximize opportunities for profitable new business production and develop our proposition to meet the evolving needs of customers and financial advisers

 

About you

 

  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices, particularly in Group Pensions legislation and Royal London products.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive successful deals and manage conflict in a balanced manner.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders through different channels.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment, demonstrating professional curiosity, proactivity, and resourcefulness.
  • Proven relationship-building and influencing skills demonstrated through stakeholder management
