We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Take to Market Proposition Manager, Individual Pensions, to join the Solutions Design & Experience Development team. The team plays a crucial role being responsible for Royal London’s UK products and propositions.
This is a new role to Royal London and will maximise the impact from existing propositions and changes to propositions in the market, through excellence in market understanding, strategy and planning.
By utilising their deep market experience, the Take to Market Proposition Manager will be responsible for the Take to Market plan and execution for Individual Pensions, reporting to the Head of Individual Proposition, and supported by the Head of Take to Market.
About the role
- Defines and executes the Take to Market strategy and plans for propositions, leading the strategy and development of proposition fit to different adviser segments, messaging, influencing and co-ordinating the relevant components owned by each function across all channels, internally and externally.
- Applies strategic thinking, market fit analysis and design to maximise the impact from proposition development, owning and updating an overarching Take to Market roadmap with all individual proposition launch plans brought together in one place.
- Defines the market conditions required for successful deployment of a proposition, as part of optimising its impact, and highlighting the activity required to support this (e.g. thought leadership).
- Supports the definition of the proposition target market, strategic fit, distribution channels, objectives and key results to inform marketing briefs, cross-Group activity and internal FAQs
- Leads the initiation of new ideas/proposition responses including shaping of benefit articulation internally and externally to drive market share.
- Provides business readiness oversight across all relevant functions
About you
- Experienced in proposition development and deployment for customers, employers and their financial advisers.
- Commercially astute, with a sound understanding of customer, employer, adviser and financial dynamics, and ability to identify focus to add greatest value.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the Individual pensions market and the dynamics across advisers and employers.
- Strong understanding of regulatory/legislative frameworks within the UK financial services market.
- Expertise and championing of the end consumer and an in-depth understanding of customer value, great customer outcomes and all aspects of the value chain.
- Expertise and an in-depth understanding of adviser/employer value and all aspects of the value chain, including understanding of key drivers for financial advisers and employee benefit consultants and how to gain traction with different adviser firm segments and role holders.
