Due to an internal promotion, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Telephony Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is key to delivering our Distribution Strategy, with a particular focus on broadening and deepening our reach across the UK Financial Advisor channel.  As a Telephony Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building relationships and developing new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on Protection.  Moreover, you will be integral in ensuring that Royal London is recognised for its market-leading propositions.

 

 

About the role

 

In this role you will:

  • Become a trusted partner to your panel to optimise its potential and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships remotely.
  • Deliver sales presentations promoting new and existing sales opportunities with a view to broaden and deepen our reach to customers.
  • Continuously expand our sales opportunities by leveraging networking techniques and exploring new sales opportunities.
  • Share insight on product proposition with leadership team to support opportunities for evolving our proposition.
  • Engage and build relationships with internal stakeholders to cultivate understanding and enhance decision making across the business
  • Clearly communicate the features and benefits of our products.
  • Focus on ensuring good customer outcomes through the relationship with the adviser

 

About you

 

What will you bring?

 

  • Excellent understanding of the competitive landscape to ensure that Royal London remains a 'partner-of-choice' and proactively identify ways to create new relationships.
  • High level knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices and able to articulate and present these.
  • Experience within a Telephony Business Development role with a demonstratable and successful track record ideally in Financial Services.
  • Good technical knowledge of financial services market and solutions.
  • Desire to become Level 4 qualified or equivalent, and prepared to achieve R01 & R05 and (R03 or R07) within 24 Months of start date
