We have a brand new opportunity, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the Asset Based Finance (ABF) team at Royal London Asset Management.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing and managing ABF assets, analysing and modelling financial data. This role is pivotal in guiding and shaping the strategic growth of our Private Asset business. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with industry experts, develop innovative strategies, and support the growth of our Private Asset Business.

We are looking to hear from strong candidates who are proficient in ABS cash flow modelling (both asset and liability run off) in excel with a good understanding of private ABS structures. You will have the ability to concisely convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the role

• Assist in sourcing and managing Asset Based Finance (ABF) assets.
• Analyse, model, write credit papers, monitor, and manage the administration of ABF structures.
• Aid in building strategy for the Structured Credit and Private Asset teams.
• Contribute to the growth of RLAM’s Private Asset Business.
• Support the strategic development of RLAM’s Private Asset business.

About you

• You will have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• A strong understanding of asset-based finance products
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques is key. Ability to build excel based models for asset and liability run-off for asset-based finance structures.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and modelling tools commonly used in financial analysis
• Familiarity with structured finance rating agency methodologies
• Ability to write detailed investment/credit memos.
• Experience in finance or investment analysis.
• Appropriate qualifications
• PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, programming languages a +
• Good knowledge of information systems: Bloomberg and an understanding of Intex and Aladdin would be of benefit
