We are currently looking for an Events and Marketing Executive to join the Royal London Asset Management Marketing team on a permanent basis in London.

 

As Events and Marketing Executive, you will support the Marketing Services Lead to deliver to key objectives, with a focus on:

  • Event planning, delivery and management
  • Production and management of marketing materials
  • Liaison with the wider Marketing and Client Group teams

 

This role sits within our growing Client Group and is an exciting opportunity for an events management and marketing professional to support us in delivering high quality events from start to finish. 

 

About the role

 

  • Maintain the events calendar.
  • Execute sales, marketing and corporate events according to the schedule.
  • Manage third party and proprietary events, breakfasts, and lunches (including marketing material and deadline management).
  • Support Marketing Services Lead for larger events and conferences.
  • Liaise with 3rd party events management vendors for venue research and booking.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with in-house creative agency.
  • Ensure all event material production is delivered according to brand guidelines and event deadlines.
  • Ensure all print and production requirements are delivered in a timely manner aligned to briefing.
  • Assist the Marketing team with ad hoc projects and tasks.

About you

 

  • Understanding of marketing functions and experience producing marketing material such as PDF documents, PowerPoint decks and email marketing.
  • Previous event management experience. Experience within a professional services or regulated environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Financial Promotions process and risk controls.
  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical in approach.
  • Confident and effective verbal communications at all levels of the organisation as well as externally.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills – ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and proactive.
  • Ensure all clients are treated in a clear and consistent manner with adherence to Treating Customers Fairly principles.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, across the company and the wider Royal London Group.
