We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Fund Operations team as Fund Operations Administrator.
This role involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of all Unit Trust/OEIC/Pooled vehicle deals either in Royal London funds or external funds are processed in compliance with policies and deadlines.
You’ll complete administration tasks around unit dealing, unit linked box management, monitoring/processing of cashflows into unitised funds and any controls required to maintain accurate processing of this information on these products on behalf of RLAM & RLG.

About the role
- Dealing into internal and external Unit Trusts/OEIC’s / pooled vehicles on behalf of RLAM and its clients.
- Liaising with counterparties through various internal and external distribution channels as part of the end to end dealing process (this includes third party administrators and outsourced partners).
- Processing Unit Linked Box Management within the agreed processes.
- Support colleagues within RLAM & Royal London Group to ensure a high quality, accurate and timely service is provided.
- Processing/monitoring SWIFT payments for unit creations/cancellations and settlements of unit dealing.
- Operational day to day service oversight of key third party providers, most notably Transfer Agencies.
About you
- Previous experience within an asset management company or similar industry
- Previous experience of Box Management and/or Unit Trust Dealing
- Understanding of trade life cycle and investment management processes
- Experience interacting with multiple departments and individuals
- MS Office Excel and Word to a high standard. Macro knowledge a benefit
- Previous experience of using Aladdin a benefit
- Strong numerical skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail and numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key departments i.e. Front Office, Finance, Client Services & Sales.
