We are seeking a Sales Executive with a proven track record in business development within the treasury sector to join our team in London on a permanent basis. 

 

This exciting new role is part of our dedicated Treasury Sales team, which sits within into our broader Client Group Sales function.  Therefore, you will have broad exposure to the breadth of products that RLAM offersYour primary focus will be on direct selling to new clients and cross-selling to existing treasury clients.

 

This role would suit a driven and proactive salesperson with good knowledge of liquidity and fixed income funds and an understanding of treasury clients’ needs.

 

About the role

 

  • Sell RLAM’s range of cash and short fixed income funds across a broad array of treasury clients within the UK:  local authorities, universities, charities, housing associations, financial institutions and corporates. 
  • Develop new business opportunities and achieve sales targets and activity metrics.
  • Undertake proactive prospecting to generate meetings, build a strong and evolving pipeline and ultimately bring new clients to RLAM. 
  • Work closely with the Treasury Sales team on defining prospect lists, sales strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Enhance the client experience from a product and on boarding perspective (in conjunction with the Client Service team, Investment team and Operations)
  • Provide input to marketing collateral, thought leadership and reporting.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitor analysis.

 

About you

 

  • Experience in treasury sector business development (ideally with a proven sales track record).
  • Good knowledge of cash (particularly money market fundss) and fixed income funds.
  • Working knowledge of different treasury sector and existing network of treasury contacts is preferable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • IMC qualified (or equivalent)
