We are recruiting a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Finance Operations team within Royal London Asset Management (RLAM).

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience team leader. Within this role you will have significant influence within the Finance along with high stakeholder visibility. You will also have the opportunity to shape a variety of projects within the team and the wider Finance function to improve processes and automation.

 

About the role

 

  • Create a vision for the Finance Operations team and manage the team’s performance to deliver this. 
  • Support the professional growth of team members.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships across the business, including with our client group.
  • Manage the monthly preparation and reporting of revenue and costs, delivering key insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the revenue accounting process, including ensuring the accuracy of all client invoicing.
  • Support the team in developing relationships with business managers and FP&A to develop enhanced cost reporting.
  • Lead the team in delivering process improvement and automation projects.

 

 

About you

 

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) 
  • Accounting and revenue experience gained within the asset management industry.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Strong Excel skills essential. 
  • Demonstratable experience of improving existing processes and developing new processes.
  • Experience of Oracle ledger and Anaplan would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
