Within the Royal London UK business, we have c.6 million policies (spread across pension, protection, savings & investment, and annuity products) that belong to our Long-Standing Customers (LSC). These customers play a central role in Royal London's success and the ability to achieve our Purpose whilst delivering our strategy. We support the long-term financial resilience of our long-standing customers, many of whom are vulnerable, by ensuring excellent service and positive outcomes.

 

The Proposition & CASS Analyst Long Standing Customer has responsibility for ensuring LSC propositions are delivering good customer outcomes by undertaking proposition activity across all LSC products which also includes supporting project and rectification activity, ensuring conduct risks are addressed and monitoring and collaborating on findings and actions. A key part of this role is issue resolution alongside delivering product and risk expertise that helps stakeholders understand the complete picture to help inform business decisions.

About the role

 

  • Ensure LSC propositions and experiences deliver good customer outcomes in line with Consumer Duty.
  • Maintain close interaction with UK Customer Product Governance Team on Product Review information, reporting and findings.
  • Provide technical guidance / responses to propositional and CASS queries to other areas of the business including 3rd party outsourcers.
  • Ensure all Important Business Services (IBS) are identified working in conjunction with the Business Resilience Team.
  • Ensure compliance with CASS regulation, through oversight and monitoring, throughout LSC, and 3rd party outsourcers.
  • Oversee and contribute to change delivery.
  • Ensure key business risks are fully understood, controlled and mitigated and we meet our regulatory requirements.

 

About you

 

  • Relevant experience in a proposition or equivalent role.
  • CASS oversight experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good customer focus and a passion for delivering good outcomes for customers.
  • Good understanding of Life, Savings or Pensions regulatory and legislative frameworks.
  • Ability to identify and articulate key conclusions from technical analysis and research.
  • Proven ability to drive improvement and come up with balanced solutions/recommendations to business situations.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, including managing key dependencies.
  • Experience of working with third parties.
