Job Title: Newly/Nearly Qualified Actuary  

Contract Type: Permanent  

Location: London OR Alderley Park

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Royal London, the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company. We are looking for a talented Actuary to support our Longevity Reinsurance team.

This role has arisen due to the planned growth of our BPA business and provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on Royal London’s risk management while supporting our continued success.  About the Role:

 

  • Support the administration of Longevity Reinsurance treaties as part of a wider Longevity Risk team.
  • Support the implementation and onboarding of new longevity swaps.
  • Monitor and analyse experience to inform business decisions.
  • Provide expert actuarial advice and insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

 

About You:

 

  • Newly/Nearly Qualified Actuary with relevant experience in longevity reinsurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of managing complex actuarial projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in the financial services industry.
