Learning at Royal London is evolving. Following a full review of our learning model, we’re launching the Royal London Learning Academy and building a new in-house L&D team. Our plans will ensure that we are organised and equipped to support our strategic goals and deliver fully on the empowered development commitment we have made to our colleague

We’re now hiring passionate L&D professionals and advisors to help shape this journey. We’re looking for a creative, detail-focused L&D Advisor to lead content curation—ensuring our learning library meets the needs of a modern, diverse workforce. 

 

You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, leaders, and providers to deliver engaging, relevant content that supports personal and professional growth. From tailoring materials to tracking usage and feedback, you’ll help us continuously improve the learning experience. 

 

About the role 

 

  • Curate and maintain a high-quality, accessible library of learning content aligned with Royal London’s strategy. 
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and content gaps. 
  • Tailor learning resources to suit different roles, teams, and learning styles to maximise engagement. 
  • Ensure all content meets standards for accuracy, instructional quality, and brand alignment. 
  • Monitor usage, gather feedback, and analyse data to continuously improve content relevance and impact. 
  • Liaise with external content providers and manage procurement processes to source effective learning solutions. 

 

About you 

 

  • Experienced in a learning and development role, ideally with a focus on content curation or digital learning. 
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning evaluation methods. 
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly SuccessFactors, and digital learning platforms. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess learning needs, interpret data, and measure content effectiveness. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. 
  • Curious, adaptable, and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.
