Learning at Royal London is evolving. Following a full review of our learning model, we’re launching the Royal London Learning Academy and building a new in-house L&D team. About the role 

 

  • Design and deliver apprenticeship and early-career programmes aligned with organisational goals and industry standards. 
  • Coordinate programme logistics, training schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Act as the main point of contact for apprentices and early-career colleagues, offering guidance and resolving issues. 
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including training providers and educational institutions. 
  • Monitor programme effectiveness through feedback, data analysis, and regular reporting to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of programme activities and outcomes. 

 

 

About you 

 

  • Experienced in L&D, with a strong focus on apprenticeships and early careers. 
  • In-depth knowledge of UK (and ideally Irish) apprenticeship frameworks, funding, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end apprenticeship programmes in large or regulated organisations. 
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. 
  • Confident using the UK Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) and working with external training providers. 
  • Curious, commercially aware, and comfortable using data to evaluate programme impact and drive improvements.
