Role overview

This role is focused on building and owning the marketing MI, reporting, analytics and insight capability across the Brand and Marketing function. You will design, create and manage Power BI dashboards and data reports, using SQL and Databricks / Microsoft Fabric to enable data‑led decision making, clear measurement of campaign and channel effectiveness, and strong governance over marketing reporting and data assets (KPIs, definitions and reporting standards).

  • Strong SQL capability and experience working with large datasets, ideally within Databricks / Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
  • Solid background in MI, reporting and analytics, including managing reporting standards and ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Experience applying marketing analytics to real business questions (e.g., channel performance, customer journey/funnel metrics, segmentation, and campaign measurement), with a pragmatic approach to defining and improving KPIs.
  • Highly analytical, detail‑focused and comfortable integrating data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Confident communicator with experience working across marketing teams and regulated environments such as financial services.

About the role

  • Design, create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to support Brand and Marketing MI and performance reporting.
  • Use SQL and Databricks / Microsoft Fabric to extract, transform and analyse data supporting marketing performance, campaign insight and marketing analytics.
  • Own and manage reporting assets and governance, including creation, documentation, quality control and stakeholder sign‑off.
  • Develop campaign and marketing effectiveness reporting that supports better decisions on activity, spend and optimisation.
  • Develop and embed marketing analytics approaches (e.g., funnel and customer journey reporting, channel performance and ROI, segmentation, and test‑and‑learn measurement) to help teams optimise activity and spend.
  • Ensure marketing data and reports are accurate, consistent and fit for purpose, promoting a strong data‑led culture.
