Job Description

Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Alderley Park

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 22nd December 2025

 

We are seeking expertly skilled and experienced  Software Developer Engineer in Test to play a central role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users.  The team will be focussed on delivering a new state-of-the-art investments platform, an undertaking that is expected to take several years.

 

About you 

 

  • Expert in web automation frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.
  • Expert developer in Typescript, JavaScript and HTML.
  • Expert in identifying and defining test scenarios and scripts.
  • Experienced with full-stack digital web stacks utilising Angular, GraphQL and REST API microservices.
  • Experienced with databases such as MongoDB and Oracle.
  • Experienced in cross browser testing tools and accessibility testing.
  • Experienced in agile delivery and iterative software development and release practices.
  • Rigorous and exhaustive attention to detail.
  • Thrives with minimal supervision and eager to lead and mentor others.
  • Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and standards.
