Royal London has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Advisory Consultant to join Group Risk & Compliance.
Group Risk & Compliance plays a critical role in enabling the business to deliver good customer outcomes, by fostering open, constructive challenge and providing clear, pragmatic regulatory advice. The Compliance Advisory team is a key part of this, partnering with the business to support decision‑making across a range of strategic initiatives and BAU activity.
About the role

In this role, you will act as a trusted second-line advisor, working closely with the business to identify, assess and manage regulatory risks. You will: |
- Support the Head of Compliance Advisory in delivering effective second-line oversight and challenge across the UK business
- Provide clear, pragmatic regulatory advice on key initiatives, helping the business navigate regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, acting as a credible and constructive partner while maintaining appropriate independence
- Provide proactive challenge to ensure regulatory risks are appropriately identified, understood and managed
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Regulatory Risk Universe, ensuring key risks are accurately reflected and understood
- Support the production of high-quality reporting to senior management and governance forums, providing clear insight on regulatory risk and emerging issues
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and translate these into relevant, practical implications for the business.
