About the team
Our Investment Solutions team designs, develops, and maintains market leading investment propositions that help customers build financial resilience and achieve their long term goals.
As an Investment Proposition Analyst, you’ll be part of the team that shapes how our investment solutions evolve. This role offers excellent breadth and is well suited to someone looking to build experience across proposition development, investment analysis, governance, reporting, and insight generation - with full support to grow your skills over time.
About the role
You will work across a variety of activities that support the design, review, and ongoing management of our investment propositions. You don’t need to be an expert - we’re looking for someone with curiosity, capability, and the right mindset to learn.
In this role, you will:
- Support the development and maintenance of our investment propositions.
- Contribute to proposition reviews by analysing data, generating insights, and helping shape recommendations.
- Support the production and maintenance of accurate fund data and monthly performance statistics used across customer facing materials.
- Assist in updating and maintaining investment collateral and communications to ensure they are accurate, clear, and compliant.
- Monitor market developments, competitor movements, and investment trends to inform proposition thinking.
- Help track issues and actions, working with colleagues across the business and within governance forums.
- Prepare clear and accurate communications, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Work with large datasets, turning information into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Provide support to investment mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Operate within established risk, control, and governance expectations, completing mandatory training and adhering to relevant policies.

- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Solid Excel and PowerPoint capability, with interest in developing further.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Technical Knowledge (nice to have, not essential)
An interest or foundation in any of the following would be helpful:
- Investment markets, propositions, structures, and asset classes.
- Workplace and individual pensions and ISA.
- Regulatory and governance requirements (e.g., COBS, COLL, VFM, Consumer Duty).
- Tools and analytics such as Lipper, FE Analytics, performance analytics.
- Modern techniques and tools such as CoPilot, PowerBI, Power Automate, or enhanced ways of working.
- Comfortable working with technical investment information and turning it into clear outputs.
Experience (helpful but not required)
You may bring experience from:
- An investment, product, actuarial, proposition, or similar analytical role.
- Producing or updating fund data, performance statistics, or recurring reports.
- Supporting proposition or product‑related projects from design to operational delivery.
- Working within established risk frameworks, governance structures, or audit expectations.
- Providing investment insight to advisers, distribution teams, or customers.
- Working within a pension or long‑term savings provider - including servicing, operations, distribution support, insight roles, or customer‑facing environments.
- Supporting investment or proposition helpdesks/mailboxes and maintaining accurate responses.
- Creating regular reporting outputs such as fund factsheets, competitor comparisons, performance packs, market updates, or board/committee papers.
