We are seeking an expertly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to play a lead role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users. The team will be focussed on delivering a new state-of-the-art investments platform, an undertaking that is expected to take several years.

As Senior Scrum Master you will be part of the senior team driving new ways of working in Workplace pensions. Alongside other colleagues, you will help shape the work and metrics to improve the team performance to drive up self-organisation and self-management.
About the role
- Champion the agile values, principles and tools and strive to build organisational agility
- Take responsibility for the Scrum Masters in the portfolio to ensure that they deliver the business outcomes and follow the agile best practice and standards
- Enable the coordination of agility at scale, involving the work of multiple teams to ensure the initiative delivery is optimised
- Drive Scrum teams to successful delivery by focusing on the goal, leveraging agile practices, processes, tools and techniques
- Ability to influence, coach and train others on agile adoption and best practice
About you
- Experience of agile values, principles and practices and how these are best applied against the organisational context
- Experience of leading teams
- Experienced in people management and development
- Highly competent in using tools such as ADO, Jira, Confluence to aid planning, reporting and experienced in implementing metrics reporting
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and team performance
- Mastery in one of the following areas of agility:
- Technical – background in agile scaling patterns or structures
- Architecture – designing, coding, test engineering or dev ops with the knowledge to promote technical craftsmanship and to support the teams in solving technical challenges through example and thought leadership
- Business – ability to apply business strategy and management frameworks to employ agile as a competitive business advantage, such as Lean Start-up, product innovation techniques, flow-based business process management approaches and other techniques that relate to innovating in the business domain
Transformation – ability to facilitate, catalyse and (as appropriate) lead organisational change and transformation.
