We are seeking an engaging and experienced Head of Funding to join our Group Treasury team.
The Head of Funding will lead the funding team for Group Treasury, setting and implementing the funding strategy for the Group.
Responsibilities include managing bond investor relationships to optimise engagement for future bond issues, managing relationships with banks to ensure beneficial terms, leading engagement with rating agencies to maintain positive credit ratings, overseeing the debt program including new debt issuance, and establishing funding frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure strong management of funding risks.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement funding strategies to support our business objectives.
- Lead and manage the funding team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Identify and secure new funding opportunities, including grants, investments, and partnerships.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of funding initiatives, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to align funding strategies with overall business goals.
- Prepare and present funding reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior funding role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of funding regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
