Responsible Investment Analyst

We’re hiring two Responsible Investment Analyst (Climate & Engagement) to join us on a 12-month contract at Royal London Asset Management’s growing Responsible Investment team.
You’ll play a hands‑on role in assessing companies’ climate transition strategies, engaging directly with senior leaders, and supporting RLAM’s flagship Net Zero Stewardship Programme. This role offers strong exposure, rapid learning, and the chance to build deep expertise in climate and ESG within a collaborative, high‑impact team.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with a degree background in Science, Sustainability, Mathematics or a related discipline, reflecting the technical and data‑driven nature of the work. Above all, you’ll bring a genuine passion for climate change and ESG topics, with a strong interest in using data analysis to drive real‑world impact through stewardship and engagement.
About the role
- Providing support to the Responsible Investment team in data analysis and client reporting alongside company engagement projects
- Supporting the Corporate Governance and proxy voting function as required
- Helping the Responsible Investment team communicate and report on our activities to key stakeholders, including supporting quantitative (data focused) and qualitative content production
- Supporting the Responsible Investment team in rolling out ESG (including climate) integration across all asset classes.
About you
- Educated to degree level in a relevant scientific, sustainability or quantitative discipline (such as Science, Sustainability, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Physics, Engineering or similar), with willingness to undertake further qualifications (IMC or equivalent).
- Strong interest and passion for climate change and ESG topics
- Confident working with AI, Excel and analysing large data sets
- Clear communication skills and confidence discussing complex or sensitive topics with internal and external stakeholders
- Equally effective working autonomously and collaboratively within a wider team environment.
