Job Title: Completions Specialist – Equity Release
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Plymouth

Salary: from £24,900 per annum
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
Closing date: 30th January 2026

Royal London Group has an exciting opportunity for a Completion Specialist to join our Equity Release Lending team. Royal London Equity Release provides high quality Lifetime Mortgage products to customers helping homeowners to achieve their financial goals in later life.

About the role:

  • Process loan applications from post-offer through to completion, ensuring delivery in line with departmental targets.
  • Follow up with partnered solicitors to confirm the offer pack has been issued to the client’s solicitors, maintain regular chaser activity, and respond promptly to queries. Where appropriate, liaise with the customer’s solicitors and the broker to help expedite loan completion.
  • Ensure all offer conditions are fully satisfied or appropriately flagged and complete the case once all completion documents have been received from partnered solicitors.
  • Where required, apply lending criteria and internal processes to review and provide offer extensions.
  • Use lending criteria to verify compliance and ensure all internal processes are consistently followed.
  • Spend part of each day handling incoming phone calls from clients and advisers, resolving queries professionally and efficiently.

 

About you:

  • Positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating resilience and dedication.
  • Minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Able to complete all administrative tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Professional telephone manner, with the ability to build rapport with customers, advisers and partners.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (Banking, Finance or Insurance).
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong team‑player attitude.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Experienced in working to KPIs and successfully achieving targets.
  • Conveyancing experience (advantageous).
