Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our Protection and Equity Release (ER) value stream, working closely with our Plymouth-based Equity Release business.

In this role, you will be part of our established Business Analysis team and will take ownership of delivering the full suite of BA artefacts across the end-to-end change lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering change that drives business growth and improves customer outcomes.

With your strong knowledge of the Equity Release / Mortgages domain and proven analytical capability, you will provide insight and recommendations that directly influence strategic and operational decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Business Analyst who wants to make a meaningful impact in a critical growth area of the organisation.

About the role

• Provide detailed supporting analysis activities supporting complex change initiatives of varying size and scope.

• Elicit, challenge and document business requirements, identifying and addressing underlying business problems across both waterfall and, predominantly, agile delivery.
• Work confidently in a delivery-focused environment, using Azure DevOps (ADO) boards.
• Facilitate workshops with a wide range of stakeholders to understand current and future states, provide a full range of BA artefacts.
• Collaborate effectively within the Business Analysis team, contributing across one or more initiatives simultaneously including providing support and guidance where required.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and business needs.
• Support and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

About you

• Demonstrable experience working within Equity Release and/or Mortgages.
• A proven Senior Business Analyst, with strong experience in similar BA roles.
• Experience working in agile environments and on large-scale transformation programmes.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong experience using a range of business analysis techniques, tools and standards including traceability management and adherence to organisation standards. All achieved within agreed timescales.
• Comfortable undertaking supporting data analysis, documenting process maps and generating user story and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships.
• Able to manage your own workload effectively while supporting and mentoring colleagues where needed.
