Job Title: Senior Proposition Analyst
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Park
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
Closing date: 27th April 2026
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Proposition Analyst to play a key role in our Digital Onboarding squad, helping turn our customer onboarding vision into reality.
You’ll lead proposition thinking for one of Royal London’s most important customer journeys: shaping how we welcome new workplace pension customers to Royal London.
From engaging onboarding communications and digital account activation, through to helping customers understand and engage with their pension, you’ll focus on getting people confidently set up and taking meaningful steps towards their retirement goals.
Working closely with a Product Owner, designers and engineers, you’ll turn insight into action, shaping priorities, influencing decisions and ensuring our onboarding experience is seamless, inclusive and delivers strong customer outcomes.
You’ll be accountable for the day to day running of proposition activity within the squad, setting direction, influencing priorities and ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence.
About the role
- Champion the squad's vision and help keep everyone focused on it throughout the team environment.
- Using customer insight, behavioural data and market intelligence to shape the onboarding experience
- Influencing backlog priorities to maximise return on investment, align with squad objectives, and meet customer needs.
- Provide deep proposition knowledge & technical expertise across onboarding & workplace pensions
- Acting as a role model within the squad and wider proposition community, demonstrating Royal London values and behaviours
- Taking an active lead in risk management and governance, ensuring changes are well controlled and compliant
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues, sharing insight and best practice
About you
- Have strong experience in proposition development, ideally within pensions, long term savings or regulated financial services
- Are comfortable leading complex customer journeys in a squad or agile delivery environment
- Have a customer first mindset, with experience using insight and data to design meaningful, inclusive propositions
- Can balance commercial awareness, customer needs and regulatory requirements when making decisions
- Are confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing across disciplines
- Bring curiosity, structure and attention to detail, with a passion for improving customer outcomes
- Enjoy taking ownership, setting direction and helping teams focus on what matters most
