We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Long-Term Savings Regulatory Change team at Royal London.

You’ll lead complex regulatory change initiatives across pensions, protection and legacy customer propositions, bringing together business and technology teams to deliver important outcomes for our customers and the Group. Working within an established cross-functional team, you’ll take ownership from initiation through to delivery while engaging senior stakeholders and third-party partners.

More about the role:

  • Lead complex regulatory change projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are achieved to agreed time, cost and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate business and technology change across multiple teams, workstreams and customer propositions.
  • Build clear plans, governance and reporting, managing dependencies, risks, issues, budgets and competing priorities.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating complex delivery information into clear decisions and actions.
  • Build collaborative, commercial relationships with third-party suppliers to support delivery and maximise value.
  • Challenge estimates, plans and delivery approaches, using your technical understanding to identify risks and make informed decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement and create an accountable, supportive delivery environment.

More about you:

  • Proven experience leading complex projects at Senior Project Manager level, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
  • A strong track record of delivering initiatives that combine business and technology change across multiple functions.
  • Experience managing substantial project budgets (2 to 5 million), multiple workstreams and complex interdependencies.
  • Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging at Director level or above.
  • Sound understanding of software delivery environments and the ability to constructively challenge technical teams, plans and estimates.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and holding partners accountable for delivery.
  • Clear communication, judgement and organisational skills, with the ability to remain effective when priorities change.
  • Pensions, regulatory change or wider financial services experience would be highly desirable.

If you feel you’d be a great fit for Royal London but don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. If you meet most of the criteria and are keen to learn, we encourage you to apply.
