We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join Royal London’s Digital Area. In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to help design, develop, test and implement high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs.
About the role
- You’ll design and develop digital solutions that meet business and customer requirements.
- You’ll deliver complex changes within your technical area, including assessing impacts on existing applications.
- You’ll document and agree designs in advance, working to agreed standards and ways of working closely with architecture and other teams to design the best solutions.
- You’ll collaborate with the wider team, contribute ideas, and review others’ work to improve overall quality.
About you

- You’ll bring strong technical knowledge in .Net (C#) with experience of Azure, Typescript or Angular being an advantage.
- You’ll have a good understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and implementation.
- You’ll have experience working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and managing dependencies with other teams.
- You’ll be comfortable managing your own workload.
