Royal London Asset Management are looking for an Assets Valuations Manager to play a critical role in overseeing the valuation and governance of its investments. There is a particular focus on private credit assets albeit the role will have exposure to other assets classes (e.g. CLOs, real estate). Sitting within our Fund Accounting and Valuation Oversight team, you’ll drive robust valuation practices, support strategic growth, and help shape how data, automation and emerging technologies enhance our valuation capability.
About the role
- Lead valuation oversight activity with a core focus on private credit instruments (essential) and exposure to real estate and other alternatives
- Oversee external valuation providers and apply advanced valuation techniques
- Provide technical leadership across valuation governance and present to senior stakeholders
- Ensure all valuation activity meets regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Drive improvements in processes through automation, data optimisation and use of AI
- Partner with Portfolio Managers, Risk and external stakeholders
- Deliver clear reporting and insight on valuation movements
About you
- Strong experience in private credit valuation (essential)
- Understanding and experience of valuation methodologies across other asset classes desirable
- Strong mathematical and analytical capability
- Tech-savvy with interest in automation, data tools and AI
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant qualifications important (CFA, ACA, IMC – qualified or working towards)
