Job Description
Senior Data Management Analyst

Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst

Contract type: FTC - 12 months

Location: London

Working style: Hybrid 50% Home/Office based

Closing date: 3rd June 2026

We’re looking for a Senior Data Management Analyst to play an important role in caring for and enhancing our data, helping ensure it is accurate, reliable and supports the needs of the business. You’ll work closely with teams across RLAM to understand how they use data, helping to create, maintain, reconcile and improve it so it can be trusted to inform decision-making.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and solving problems, and who wants to make a meaningful impact. You’ll act as a trusted data expert, supporting both day-to-day activities and wider projects, helping to resolve data issues, improve controls and drive high standards of data quality across the organisation.

As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you’ll also stay connected to changes across the business, industry and regulatory landscape, helping RLAM adapt and continue to get the best from its data. If you’re curious, detail-oriented and enjoy working with others to drive improvements, this role offers real variety and the chance to add significant value.

About the role

  • Deliver best‑in‑class Data Operational services, acting as a first‑line data support function for business users.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Aladdin sourced data, including supporting the interpretation and investigation of risk, performance and portfolio‑related outputs, with particular attention to Fixed Income analytics such as yield measures, duration, spread and sensitivity metrics.
  • Work hands‑on with key Aladdin platform tools (such as SecMaster, AnSER and Aladdin Dashboards) to support the effective setup and ongoing use of data that underpins Aladdin outputs.
  • Support investigation and resolution of issues impacting Fixed Income analytics outputs (e.g. differences in yield, duration or spread metrics across portfolios or views).
  • Log, investigate and resolve data‑related issues in a timely manner, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements, including improved controls, documentation and consistency of data usage.
  • Support change programmes by capturing requirements, supporting testing and embedding data best practice.

About you

  • Experience managing and supporting data across core investment data domains, specifically security, benchmark, risk analytics, performance and reference data, including their application to Fixed Income portfolios.
  • Practical experience working with the Aladdin platform, with an understanding of how Aladdin sourced data is produced and consumed by the business.
  • Hands‑on exposure to Aladdin tools that support downstream data and analytics, such as:
    • SecMaster
    • AnSER
    • Portfolio Construction (PfC)
    • Aladdin Dashboards and analytical views
  • An understanding of common Fixed Income analytics and parameters used within Aladdin, such as:
    • Yield measures (e.g. yield to maturity, yield to worst)
    • Interest rate risk metrics (e.g. modified duration, effective duration, DV01)
    • Spread measures (e.g. OAS, credit spread)
    • Convexity and sensitivity metrics
  • The ability to support and explain Aladdin derived outputs (e.g. risk, performance or portfolio data) and investigate differences or issues in a structured way.
  • Experience working with data management practices and tools (e.g. data controls, reconciliation, SQL, Excel).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
